Daily killer Sudoku rules
- Fill the grid — every row, column and 3×3 box must contain the digits 1–9 exactly once, just like classic Sudoku.
- Add up the cages — each dashed-outline group must total the small number printed in its corner.
- No repeats in a cage — a digit can appear at most once inside any single cage.
- Play it — tap a cell then a number to fill it, ⌫ to clear. Today’s board has exactly one answer, reachable by logic alone.
A new killer Sudoku every day
The daily killer Sudoku is a single shared puzzle that changes once a day, so everyone plays the same board — a steady cage-sum ritual to keep. The board above is today’s; it resets at the start of each day.
Want more than one? Tap New for an endless supply of fresh killer boards, switch difficulty above the grid, or head to the full killer Sudoku page for the rules and strategy. Stuck on a cage? The killer Sudoku calculator lists every possible combination for any cage.
Why a daily killer?
Killer Sudoku rewards a daily habit more than most puzzles: the cage-combination patterns — 3 = {1,2}, 17 = {8,9}, the rule of 45 — sink in through repetition. One shared board a day is the perfect dose: everyone solves the same grid, so you can compare notes, and tomorrow brings a fresh one. If you’re new, start with the daily classic Sudoku and work up.
